Our Winchester House for Chickens is done!

If you lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for very long, at some point you give in and buy a ticket to the giant early 1800’s home that sits on the corner of Winchester Blvd in the middle of a very over developed ara of San Jose, CA. This house is known for it’s quirky room, hallways, stairs to nowhere and doors to nowhere. Rights?….. well, we give you our version of this house for our chickens! LOL! Our dear friend Rachael from Sage Acres Farm (our chicken guru) saw our plans before we began to build and she off the cuff said “oh, so you are building the Winchester House of chicken coops?”. Ha ha ha, well he is a video tour of the finished coop and you can see why she called it that. We love it! Thank you Rachael for the inspiration.
